Some have speculated that Paris Hilton may be asking for some advice for her next studio album, which is said to be heavily influenced by the work of dance diva Kylie Minogue. The dance-inspired album is rumored to be the next project of music producer Mike Green, whose recent work includes Paramore’s album. It hasn’t been confirmed which label will be releasing the new album of Paris or when it will hit stores later on.
Although Paris Hilton’s long-time BFF Nicole Ritchie and her hubby Joel Madden (Benji Madden’s brother) were at the same club, Paris chose to leave with Avril. Perhaps this new project of Paris is a result of her recent split with boyfriend Benji Madden. Paris Hilton was recently on the Ryan Seacrest show, where she said, “He’s an incredible person. Besides, it would be funnier to put a number up as LeBron’s and see whom calls.
Ikenna (Okafor, cousin of Emeka) volunteered, because he did a better LeBron than me. As it turned out, his voice didn’t matter. Within hours of posting the Wordpress page and linking it to a number of forums, we had 400 page views and dozens of calls that all went like this:
Ikenna: “Hello?”
Scared Guy Who Thinks He’s Talking to LeBron: (Hangs up.)
Twenty-four hours later, the same thing had happened, by Ikenna’s count, at least 200 times. When I was with him, it was rare to go a few minutes without his phone ringing. Remember back when Paris Hilton’s cell phone was hacked? Anyone who tried calling, say, Eli Manning to ask him why he wasn’t as good as his brother (His response: “Shut up.”) will remember how many times they had to call to get through. The effect wasn’t as extreme here because the link hadn’t had the same online promotion as Paris’ phone list. Even so, Ikenna was still getting calls weeks after he complained to me to take down the link. (Maybe that was because I posted the number itself on a few forums. Don’t tell him that.)
Even though I completed pissed him off posting his number online (though he consented), I still had his back when it mattered. Like when some punk from L.A. called and I gave him a talking to on why not to post athlete’s numbers online. Posing as LeBron’s agent, I accused him of posting the number, after finding his number on the recent calls log:
Me: “Hi, this is Mitchell Blatt from IMG. I’m LeBron James’ agent, and we have evidence that you posted his number online.”
Guy: “No, I didn’t.”
M: “Your number showed up on his call records.”
G: “I called it.”
M: “We have traced the internet IP code, and it got to you.”
G: [anger in voice] “I don’t know, I just called the number. It was already posted.”
M: “Could one of your friends have posted it on your computer?”
G: [distressed] “No, none of my friends did.”
M: “Alright, well, I just want to let you know that this investigation will continue, and you better watch your back. The King has his eye on you.

According to Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer, he believes that the 26-year-old Simple Life diva has intentionally disobeyed the law by driving while her license was suspended. Judge Sauer has ordered Ms. Hilton to report to jail on June 5. Judge Sauer further stated, “I think she has wanted to disregard everything that was said and continued to drive no matter what. The probation is revoked. Forty-five days in jail.”
Judge Sauer has come up with his decision after a two-hour hearing wherein Ms. Hilton has pleaded that she was unaware that her driving privileges had been suspended when she was pulled over for driving without headlights last February 27.
The hotel heiress even put the blame on her publicist by saying that Elliot Mintz has told her that she was permitted to drive for work-related reasons. Ms Hilton told the judge, “I did not want to break the law. I did what I was told. I would never drive just because I want to. I follow the law and I respect the law. From now on I want to pay complete attention to everything. I just want to say I’m sorry.”
The judge however was not convinced by Ms. Hilton’s alibi and said that he believes that the hotel heiress is very much aware of her driving restrictions and added that Paris has chosen to completely ignore the notice given to her by a police officer that she had signed during an earlier traffic stop last January which notifies her regarding her suspended license.
The whole court drama has brought Hilton’s mother Ms. Kathy to yell at the prosecutor saying “you’re pathetic”.
Attorney Howard Weitzman, lawyer of Ms. Hilton said that the decision was unfair since it singled out Paris for being a celebrity. He also said, “To sentence Paris Hilton to 45 days in jail is inappropriate and borders on ludicrous. It is clear that she has been selectively targeted for prosecution for who she is. I think she was honest in her testimony. We do intend to appeal to the judge and to a higher court to modify the sentence.”
Ms. Hilton was placed on three years probation earlier this year for pleading no contest which is equivalent by the way to a guilty plea.
